Wizarding Edinburgh

Accessibility

Last updated: August 2026

1. Our commitment

We want as many people as possible to be able to explore Edinburgh with us, and to use this website comfortably. We are a small independent operator, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a finished checklist.

2. This website

We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA standard, and we are not fully there yet. Known limitations we are working to fix include: some buttons and controls are smaller than the recommended size on small touch screens, and the booking calendar can be awkward with certain screen readers and assistive tools.

If you find a barrier we have not listed, please tell us (see section 5). We treat that feedback as a priority.

3. Booking without the online form

You never have to use the booking form to book a tour. If it is difficult for you for any reason, contact us and we will take your booking and arrange payment for you:

4. On the tour

Our routes cross Edinburgh's Old Town, which has cobbled streets, steep closes and stairs, so wheelchair and pram access is limited on the standard routes. This is a feature of the terrain, not a choice. Please tell us about any access needs when you book, and we will do our best to adapt the route or the pace, or to suggest the tour that suits you best.

5. Contact and feedback

If you have trouble using this site, need information in another format, or want to request an adjustment, contact us at info@magicaledinburgh.com or +44 7517 841617. We aim to reply within 2 working days.
