This one is really a masterclass with a walk attached. A working filmmaker keeps the group down to ten people and spends it showing you how to get more out of whatever camera you turned up with, from a phone to a DSLR, whether you've never shot a thing or you make videos for a living. Where you go depends on the group's taste: Calton Hill, Princes Street Gardens, the Mound, and wherever the weather sends the group that day. Most people are surprised how much better they're shooting by the end.

Good to know
- Walking distanceAbout 2.5 km at an easy pace, over cobbled streets and a few short flights of steps.
- AccessibilityThe Old Town's cobbles, steep closes and stairs make wheelchair and pram access limited. Message us before booking and we'll adapt the route to your needs.
- What to bringComfortable shoes, warm layers and a rain jacket — we walk in light rain and Edinburgh weather is unpredictable. And, of course, your camera! Don't forget the SD Card.
- If you're running latePlease arrive 5/10 minutes before the start time. The group sets off on the hour and our tour guides won't pick up their phone once the walk starts, so give yourself time to find the meeting point.
