Arriving for your tour
All of our walks begin in Edinburgh's Old Town, within a few minutes of the Royal Mile — so wherever you are staying in the centre, your meeting point is an easy stroll away. We would suggest arriving five to ten minutes early: it gives you time to find your guide, who will be waiting with a Wizarding Edinburgh sign, and to settle in before the story begins.
Each spot below is a landmark in its own right. The West Bow Well has stood at the foot of Victoria Street for centuries; Camera Obscura crowns the top of Castlehill; and Bakehouse Close is one of the best-preserved seventeenth-century courtyards in the city, a film location in its own right. Tap "Get directions" on any of them to open the exact pin in Google Maps.
Meeting points can vary by tour and season — always confirm your exact spot in your booking-confirmation email.
